Elections are held at the Drammen Town Hall; Located at W6505 Cty Rd ZZ, Mondovi, WI 54755 with poll hours of  7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Requirements:

  • You must be a US citizen
  • You must be at least 18 years of age on or before election day
  • You must have resided at your address within your election district for at least 28 days
  • You must not have lost your right to vote

Also:

  • You must sign the poll book
  • You must provide your WI Drivers License number or the last 4 numbers of your Social Security number if you do not have a WI Drivers License in order to register to vote
  • You must provide acceptable proof of residency to register to vote – Please click here for further information
  • You must provide acceptable Photo ID to be issued a ballot – Please click here for further information

VOTER ID is now in effect.

Voters must sign the poll book to obtain a ballot.  The poll book now contains a signature block for each voter. Only one poll book needs to be signed.

Voters unable to sign the poll book because of a physical disability are exempt from this requirement.  If this applies to you, tell the election officials that you are unable to sign because of a disability.  Election officials will write “exempt” in your signature block

Voters can register online, by mail, in-person in the Clerk’s office or on Election Day. If you are not certain if you are registered you should call the town clerk (715) 926-5856 or you can verify this information at myvote.wi.gov

All voters in the Town of Drammen must be registered to vote before a ballot will be issued.  You must provide valid Proof of Residence to register. (Military and Permanently Overseas are excluded)

ONLINE:  Voters whose WI Drivers License or State issued ID match their permanent address can register online up until 20 days prior to an Election.  www.myvote.wi.gov

You must provide proof of residence. You also must provide your Wisconsin driver’s license number or other forms of residence or the last four numbers of your Social Security Number. 

Note: You can only register to vote by mail until 20 days before an election.  If you need to register within the 20 day time frame prior to an election, please utilize in person or on Election Day registration.

IN PERSON - Registration can take place up until 5pm the Friday before the election. Call Nick Lutes, Clerk (715) 926-5856 for an appointment. You must provide proof of residence.  The new law prohibits absentee voting the Monday before an election.

Absentee ballots can be requested thru www.myvote.wi.gov

You can cast an absentee ballot in person the two weeks prior to the election up until 5pm the Friday before the election. Hours will posted on the home page and on this page or by contacting Nick Lutes, Clerk at (715) 926-5856 or [email protected].
